Women in Ministry

The Foursquare Church is committed to ensuring that every woman called and gifted by the Lord has access to mentoring, equipping, and opportunities to lead. We believe it is the heart of God for men and women to stand side by side in positions of leadership within the church, serving Jesus and His mission. Our conviction to the word of God, as well as our respect and commitment to our founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, lead us to the belief that women should serve as equal partners in ministry with men. Men and women are different yet similar, connected yet distinct. Both men and women are created in the image of God, which implies a delegated authority. God created both men and women with a job to do that involves cultivating fruitfulness and flourishing from the world.
